The 69th Republic Day was
celebrated in all its solemnity and grandeur at Delhi Public School
on 26th January 2018. The Chief Guest, honourable Principal, DPS,
Dhenkanal, escorted by the slow marchers inspected the march past
group. He unfurled the national flag which was followed by the national
anthem. He then addressed the students and urged them to do their
best and feel proud to be Indians. The students contingents displayed
a well synchronized march past in front of the spectators. The school
contingent of March-past and a Cultural Troop went to the Police
Ground to compete with other schools in district level competitions.
The
melodious music and graceful movements of the dancers of the cultural
troop were spellbinding. The students of DPS Dhenkanal bagged the
first position in the cultural event at Police ground and received
the Prize from the Honourable Minister Mr. Ramesh Chandra Majhi.
